Divercity’s recruitment software helps connect underrepresented professional to companies that are serious about creating diverse and inclusive workspaces. I worked with other UX designers, researchers, and the development team to create high fidelity prototypes of features such as an internal administrative dashboard, onboarding, and messaging features.

The foundations of our design system were first distinguished by its color palette, typography, and icons. These elements guided how we created our components, which I then organized in our master design system. As we continued to iterate, I standardized our catalog of components to create a more unified and functional system that can be used across devices.
I created and maintained our design system by ensuring all of our components were created using variants as well as documenting all properties and values. By establishing a library that utilizes variants, our design team is able to iterate and design more efficiently.
I created the messaging tool that would be used between candidates and recruiters within the Staffing Dashboard. I conducted a competitive analysis of email and messaging platforms in order to create a design that would be simple and familiar for users.
Along with basic messaging features, I was tasked with creating an email sequencing feature which allows recruiters to build and send automated messages to engage maximum candidates and increase response rates.
I designed Divercity’s first mobile pages, ensuring that our user’s experience was kept consistent between platforms.
My time at Divercity has been a great learning experience on how to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create the best version of our product under time and resource constraints. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have contributed to the company’s visual identity through its design system, as well as creating the foundations for the mobile app.
